CHOCOLATE CAKE

Easy chocolate cake, for lazy people like me hih hi hhih.









Ingredients:
250g butter
200g dark chocolate, broken into pieces
110g caster sugar
100g brown sugar
250mls warm water
340g plain flour
1tsp baking powder
2 eggs, lightly whisked
Method:
Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease your cake pan with melted butter.
Combine unsalted butter, chocolate, sugars and water in a heat resistant bowl or in the top of a double saucepan and stir over a saucepan of simmering water until melted and well combined. Remove from heat and stand until lukewarm.
Sift together the flour and baking powder, gently mix into the chocolate mixture with a whisk until thoroughly combined. Whisk in the eggs.
Pour mixture into the cake pan and bake for about 1hour or til a skewer inserted into the centre of the cake comes out clean.

SQUID THAI STYLE

Ingredients:
1 kg squid (cleaned)
1 stalk fresh coriandre (chopped)
1 onion (finely chopped)
1 spoon of tumeric powder
Salt

Directions
1. cut squid into small squares.
2. blanch squid for 1 minute in boiling water.
3. Take off water and mix squid with tumeric powder and salt evenly.
4. Heat oil and add in chopped onion.
5. Add in squid and coriandre for about 5min or till its cooked.

MILO CHOCOLATE CAKE

Out of cacao powder so had to use the milo powder instead lol.



INGREDIENTS:
170g all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons milo
2 pinches salt
200g sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla essence
1/2 cup fresh milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 tablet of chocolate (plain) broken to pieces

METHOD:
Preheat oven to 350 deg/180 deg C
Grease a 9 inch(23cm) cake tin.
Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, sugar and vanilla essence in a bowl.
Add milk, vegetable oil and eggs.
Mix everything together until smooth, either by hand or by using an electric mixer at slow speed.
Add in the pieces of chocolate on top, press it till it enters at the end of your mixture.
Transfer to bake tin and bake until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, approximately 35-45 minutes.
