AYAM PERCIK SIMPLE

Dah lama teringat nak buat ayam percik. Sekarang ni kalau boleh nak perbanyakkan masak kat rumah..demi utk anak anak. Biar diorang byk makan hasil air tangan mak dia. Bukankan itu lebih baik?

Seperti biasa, thanx to the internet, found the ideal recipe yg pstinya simple. Yer hanya yg simple sajer for me due to lack of time I have. I hardly use chilli in my recipe sebab hubby and kids can't take spicy food. So kalau nak tambah chilli tu, tambah masa menumis yer.

So let me share with you the recipe.

INGREDIENTS
Bahan kisar
  • 2 biji bawang besar
  • 2st serbuk kunyit atau 2inci kunyit hidup
  • 2btg serai
  • 2cm halia
  • 2sudu besar gula
  • 1st serbuk ketumbar
  • 4ulas bwg putih
  • Sedikit air utk blend

Peha ayam 
Garam secukup rasa
1kiub ayam
1 cawan santan
1 asam keping

CARA CARA

Gaulkan ayam dgn bahan kisar dan santan.
Masukkan dalam kuali dan masak dgn api sederhana.
Masukkan asam keping, garam dan kiub ayam, masak sehingga ayam separuh masak. Sentiasa kacau dan terbalikkan ayam.
Angkat ayam dan masukkan dlm dulang pembakar. Simpan baki kuah utk buat sos.

Bakar ayam yang telah dipanaskan 10min pada 180° sebelum itu. Bakar sehingga ayam jadi keperangan dan agak garing diluarnya. Tuangkan sos tadi ke atas ayam.

#Hidang dengan nasi minyak.

TURKEY WITH ORANGE SAUCE

Hubby said to me
"when it's good, it's always not enough". Kids loved it too and keep asking for second serve but unfortunately nothing left.
So here is the recipe of the very delicious TURKEY WITH ORANGE SAUCE.


Ingredients
1. Turkey meat cut into any size you wish (mcm kiub size) - Boleh juga guna ayam
2. 2cm of ginger (hiris nipis)
3. 2 garlic (hiris nipis)
4. Bawang besar (hiris nipis)
5. 1 cup of tepung gandum
6. 1 cup of breadcrumbs
7. 2 sp of oyster sauce
8.  1 sp cuka putih
9. 2 biji orange (perah ambil jus shj)
10. 2 biji kuning telur (pukul sebati)
11. 2sp gula kasar

Steps

Turkey meat
1. Gaulkan kuning telur dgn turkey meat. Salutkan dgn tepung yg telah di satukan dulu dgn breadcrumbs sampai betul betul rata
2. Goreng dgn minyak panas dan api sederhana. Toskan minyak dan letak tepi

Orange sauce
1.  Panaskan minyak, masuk ginger, garlic dan bawang besar sampai naik bau
2. Masukkan jus (orange jus yg dah dicampur dgn cuka, gula dan oyster sauce). Masak sampai agak agak pekat. Sentiasa kacau supaya tak melekat di keliling frying pan
3. Masukkan turkey yg dah digoreng tadi ke dlm frying pan with sauce dan kacau sehingga turkey disaluti dgn sauce. Jangan terlampau lama, kalau tak, tak jadi crispy turkey/ayam tadi.

#Note
Boleh taburkan daun bawang yg dihiris halus ke or daun ketumbar yg dah dihiris halus atas hidangan.

AGAR AGAR STRAWBERRY

 INGREDIENTS
  • 15g agar agar
  • 3 cawan air
  • 3 cawan gula
  • 2 biji telur
  • 2 cawan santan
  • 5 biji strawberry yg dah dibersihkan dah potong dadu (buang daun) 
  • pewarna merah

STEPS
  1. Rebus agar agar dengan 3 cawan air, pastikan agar agar betul betul hancur
  2. Masukkan gula dan masak sampai gula hancur dgn api sederhana
  3. Blend strawberry, telur, satu titik pewarna merah dgn 2 cawan santan sampai hancur. Tapis.
  4. Masukkan mixture strawberry tadi kedalam mixture agar agar yg atas api tadi. Masak seketika (jgn lupa kacau bagi rata) dan tutup api.
  5. Tuang ke acuan/loyang. Bila dah sejuk sikit masuk dlm peti ais (jarang sekali letak masakan yg masih panas terus ke dalam peti ais, tunggu suam sikit, baru simpan dalam peti ais). Boleh lah dimakan few hours later bila dah sejuk.

ONION BEEF WITH CREAMY AND CHEESY MASHED POTATOES & CARROT

Tonite...had some idea for dinner after watching the Top Chef lastnight.

Ada bagusnya jugak sbb change the habitual. Hubby and kids loved it!

As usual..quantity varies depending person serving for.

INGREDIENTS
1. Some beef onion patties
2. Potatoes
3. Carrot
4. Liquid fresh cream
5. fresh milk
6. Salt

For deco
1. Grated cheese
2. Fried onion

STEPS
1. Steam potatoes and carrot after taking off the skin till soft inside
2. Mash potatoes and carrot seperately..then combine
3. Boil fresh milk and fresh cream together.
4. Add boiled liquid to your mixture. Not too much..just enough so that the mixture is not that thick.  Add salt.
5. Insert mixture in a pipping bag and pipe it out on your patties that you have fried with s little of butter in a frying pan.
6. Decorate with fried onion and spread grated cheese.
