BEIGNET FLEUR D'ACCACIA (CEKODOK BUNGA ACCACIA)


Ingredients :

  • 150g of flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1/4 litre of milk
  • oil
  • accacia flowers
  • powder sugar

Preparation :

1. In a bowl, add in the flour. Make a hole in the middle, add in the eggs and salt.

2. Mix it well and add milk. Leave it in the refrigerator for 2 hours.


3. Heat over oil in a wok/frying pan.

4. Add in the accacia flowers in the bowl. Mix well.

5. Take a spoon of the flower mixture (avoid taking too much of the flour mixture, more flowers, the better) and fry it till it's becoming brownish.

6. Serve it in a plate and sprinkle sugar on top of it for final touch.


Note :

If you don't have accacia flowers, you can use the local flowers that you have, the one which is smelling good. Check on the internet that these flowers are not dangerous.

Roses petals can replace accacia flowers too.

Main thing is to leave the flowers in a big bowl with water and vinegar. Vinegar is use to kill the "unwanted insects" in these flowers. Leave it for 10min, then wash it with water.

NASI GORENG KAMPUNG


INGREDIENTS
3 pinggan nasi putih
Kacang panjang dipotong kecik kecik (mcm dlm gambar)
Isi ayam yg dipotong kecik kecik
3 biji telur
Garam secukup rasa
5 sudu besar minyak
1/2 peket perencah adabi "Nasi goreng kampung"

STEPS
1. Dlm kuali, panaskan minyak, then goreng ayam sampai masak, masukkan kacang panjang, kacau dan masak for about a minute.


2. Masukkan telur, jgn dikacau dan biarkan sampai setengah masak


3. Bila dah setengah masak, baru kacau supaya mix ngan other ingredients.


4. Masukkan nasi putih.
5. Taburkan setengah peket perencah adabi "nasi goreng kampung". Nak letak semua pun boleh tapi alamatnya pedas lar dan budak² takleh plak nak makan.


6. Gaul sampai perencah sebati ngan nasi dan bahan bahan lain.
7. Masukkan garam secukup rasa.

FRENCH MADELAINES




INGREDIENTS
150g sugar
3 eggs
150g flour
125g butter
2 spoon of flavour (vanilla or orange .. in my case, i used fleur d'oranger)

STEPS
1. Preheat oven at 180°
2. In a bowl, add sugar.
3. Add 2 entire eggs and the 3rd egg, only the yellow one. Keep aside the rest of the white egg for later.
4. If you are using a machine to mix, make sure to beat it at the minimum level of kelajuan. Beat till it's less yellowish.
5. Add flour bit by bit (not all at once).
6. Add butter (which is melted first).
7. In another bowl, bea the left white egg till it's becoming fluffy. Mix it using hand only and not with machine.
8. Mix flavour.
9. Pour it in small moulds (half of the mould) and bake it at 180° for 9min.

MURTABAK DAGING EXPRESS




Murtabak segera utk orang yg nak cepat hih hi hhih.

Thanx to Nan Huser for the recipe in which Ive modified instead of using kulit popia, Ive used frozen roti prata instead (as I didnt have the right size of kulit popia to make murtabak).



Bahan-bahan
100 g daging cincang
2 biji ubi kentang
1 sudu setengah rempah kari
1/2 biji bawang besar
1 ulas bawang putih
Daun sup
Minyak
1 sudu kecil garam
Roti prata
2 biji telur

Inti murtabak
1. Tumis bawang besar dan bawang putih di potong dadu.
2. Bila dah naik bau, masukkan rempah kari yang telah dibancuh dgn air.
3. Goreng sehingga pecah minyak. kemudian masukkan daging cincang.
apabila daging masak, masukkan kentang yang dipotong dadu.
4. Masukkan garam. If terlalu kering, tambahkan air.
5. Masak sehingga kentang empuk. Akhir sekali masukkan daun sup.
6. Pukul telur di dalam mangkuk. Masukkan inti tersebut ke dalam telur. Kacau sehingga sebati.

Cara-cara
1. Keluarkan roti prata dari freezer dan biarkan selama 1 jam (so that tak keras and senang diuli).
2. Atas meja yg dah dibersihkan, sapu minyak (so that roti prata tak melekat)
3. Letakkan roti prata, sapu ngan minyak dan start to uli bagi dia besar and nipis so that boleh lipat bila dah masuk inti.
4. Masukkan inti dan lipat bentuk 4 segi.
5. Masak dlm frying pan dgn sedikit minyak yg dah dipanaskan.

BUTTER AND CHEESE PRAWN



INGREDIENTS
500g of prawns (jgn buang kulit, potong misainya je pun ok, otherwise, can take off the kepala)
3 ulas bawang putih ditumbuk
8 sudu besar gula
1 sudu teh garam
1/2 biji bawang besar dihiris halus
Grated cheese (in my case, I used gruyere)

1 cawan butter
Half Liter of fresh milk


STEPS:
Dlm small frying pan, heat over 1/2 cawan butter.
Add in susu and 4 sudu besar gula.
Biarkan menggelegak sampai likat atau pekat

In a large bowl, mix prawn, 4 sudu besar gula and salt and marinate for 15min.
In another frying pan, heat over the left over butter.
Masukkan onion and masak sehingga kekuningan or naik bau.
Add in prawn yg dah dimarinate tadi dan kacau sehingga prawn agak² dah masak.

Masukkan campuran susu dan gula yg dah likat tadi.
Masukkan cheese/gruyere dan kacau dlm 1 minit.
